1. Tuition is due the first class of each month regardless of whether four classes are held that month. There will be NO REFUNDS for missed classes. Please make up any missed class in another class of similar age and ability. A $10 per student non refundable recital fee is due the week of each recital in the fall semester and spring semester.
2. Please have your child use the bathroom before class. Leaving not only disrupts the class but your child may miss out on valuable warm-ups or combinations. Please discuss this with your child.
3. Gum, water, food or drinks of any kind are not permitted inside the studios. The finish on the new dance floor will be ruined with moisture. Snacks/drinks are allowed in the Studio lobby and dressing rooms but please keep our studio clean.
4. Classes not meeting minimum enrollment (6 students) will be canceled. Students will be moved to other existing classes or tuition will be refunded.
5. Parents may observe class from one of our two parent waiting rooms. Doors are left open for viewing unless siblings in the studio become too noisy. Parents/siblings in the studio rooms causes a lot of
distraction and dancers learn much better when it is just the instructor with them during class. This also helps students to learn independence.
6. Class attire - All students (except adults) must wear dance related attire for dance classes. Jeans and dresses will not be allowed in class. Students may wear leotard and tights, tutus, unitards, spandex, dance pants, with a leotard etc. Tumbling students may wear leotards, but no tights. Leotards can be worn with shorts or leggings. Older students may also wear shorts and fitted shirts. No baggy t-shirts please, this
can cause problems with spotting tumblers.
7. All hair must be pulled back into a bun, ponytail, braids, or pigtails.
8. All tap, ballet, jazz and hip hop shoes must only be worn in the studios. Ages 3-4 need BLACK tap shoes and PINK ballet shoes. All dancers ages 5 and above need TAUPE tap shoes and PINK ballet shoes.
9 . Costumes are ordered several months before recital and must be paid for in full before being ordered. Those not paid for will not be ordered and those dancers will be unable to participate in the recital. Tumblers may also be ask to purchase a recital costume.
10. Policy is set by the dance studio management and as such, any and all policy questions should be
referred to the studio director.
